Jhajin Bhutan Tours & Treks is built on a legacy dating back to 1991, when Bhutan’s tourism industry was privatised by the Royal Government of Bhutan.
Originally established as Baeyul Excursions, the company was formed during the early years of Bhutan’s private tourism sector. Founded by a tourism professional with prior experience in the government’s Department of Tourism, the company developed strong institutional knowledge, operational expertise, and long-standing industry relationships across Bhutan.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, which temporarily halted tourism operations nationwide, the business was strategically rebranded as Jhajin Bhutan Tours & Treks. The rebranding reflects a renewed vision and modern positioning while carrying forward more than three decades of experience in Bhutan’s tourism industry.
Today, Jhajin Bhutan combines legacy knowledge with contemporary travel standards to deliver culturally sensitive, professionally managed, and meaningful journeys across the Kingdom.
A few thoughtfully designed journeys that reflect different ways of experiencing the Kingdom.
Our Bhutan travel specialists craft meaningful journeys through the Land of Happiness. From serene monasteries and untouched valleys to authentic cultural encounters, every itinerary is thoughtfully designed for a truly immersive experience.

In Bhutan, many tourists visit the same places. What differs is how those places are experienced. Therefore, we offer;

We design journeys with intention. Each day is paced to allow for discovery without fatigue, blending highlights with quieter moments that often become the most memorable.

Our team combines local knowledge with international service standards. We understand both Bhutan and the expectations of global travellers, ensuring a smooth, informed, and comfortable experience.

Whether you prefer a compact itinerary, a leisurely cultural immersion, or a premium private journey, we tailor experiences to match your pace, interests, and travel style.

We actively support sustainable tourism practices by working with local communities, small businesses, and licensed professionals. Responsible travel is fundamental to our operations.
Rather than offering fixed “packages,” we present experience-led journeys that can be adapted for different travellers.
Designed for travellers who wish to understand Bhutan’s history, architecture, religious traditions, and daily life. These journeys include dzongs, monasteries, museums, traditional arts centres, and village interactions.
Bhutan’s festivals are among the most vibrant cultural expressions in the Himalayas. We design festival journeys that respect religious significance while offering meaningful access and interpretation. Spiritual journeys may include meditation, monastery stays, and guided reflection.
From gentle valley walks to scenic hikes and time in nature, these journeys focus on Bhutan’s pristine environment, fresh air, and natural rhythm.
Designed for photographers, filmmakers, writers, and creatives who require time, access, and flexibility. These journeys prioritise light conditions, composition opportunities, and cultural sensitivity.
Fully customised journeys for individuals, couples, families, and private groups seeking privacy, flexibility, and a tailored experience.
